Tessa Dixson shows on Prayer that electropop can push musical boundaries whilst still maintain an aura of catchiness and accessibility aimed to garner the track a wider audience. Awash with mournful synths and underpinned with a slow, piercing beat, Dixson’s voice channels an almost Lana Del Rey vibe, but directs those same languid emotions via a very European sensibility.

Prayers is a stunning debut single and shows the depth and maturity you’d struggle to get from more experienced artists.  Prayers is out now and you can find out more details about streaming or buying the track here, and for details of gigs, future releases and more check out Dixson’s website.
